AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish an AI security function, manage security engineering teams, and enhance enterprise trust while operating in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving security initiatives and roadmaps
• Oversee enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, managing customer security reviews and compliance controls

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to manage corporate IT aspects as part of the security mission
• Executive presence with the capability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
