To lead the security strategy at an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee the AI security function, manage security engineering teams, and enhance operational security while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise customers.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity models
- Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
- Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
- Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
- Experience building new security functions from the ground up
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise clients
- Fluency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
