AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee the AI security function, enhance security engineering practices, and ensure operational security while collaborating with executive leadership and managing a team in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering initiatives across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response strategies
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance narratives for fundraising and customer security reviews, ensuring robust technical controls are in place

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security operations
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to engage with executive teams and enterprise customers effectively
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI, as well as identity and SaaS governance
