AI Security VP

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried VP of Security will establish a comprehensive AI security function, oversee security engineering, and enhance operational security while collaborating with executive leadership and managing corporate IT responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Strong executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers effectively
