AI Security VP

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VP of Security, this role will manage the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, with a primary focus on establishing AI security capabilities while maintaining strong foundational security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts, overseeing AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec teams, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Enhance operational security practices and manage corporate IT, ensuring robust identity and endpoint management

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions and managing corporate IT as part of the security mission
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and enterprise customers regarding security matters
• Genuine interest and current knowledge of AI security challenges and solutions
