AI Security VP

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried VP of Security will establish and oversee the company's AI security function, manage security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating closely with executive leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts, ensuring secure design practices and managing a team focused on AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Proven ability to engage with executive teams and manage corporate IT responsibilities
• Current knowledge of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and model-mediated data exfiltration
