AI Security VP

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VP of Security to lead the end-to-end security strategy at Engine, focusing on AI security, security engineering, and corporate IT while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise customers in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in hypergrowth environments
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Fluency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
