AI Security VP

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations, the full-time salaried AI Security VP will establish an AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while managing corporate IT in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the security roadmap and team development
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical knowledge in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive teams and enterprise customers
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges and solutions, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
