AI Security VP

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security VP will establish and oversee the AI security function, enhance security engineering practices, and ensure enterprise trust while operating in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response initiatives
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive teams and manage enterprise security reviews
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
