AI Security VP

Job Summary

To lead the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried VP of Security will own the security strategy, engineering, and operations while building new AI security capabilities and maintaining a robust security posture in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Oversee security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving initiatives for secure design and automated response
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding diligence, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI requirements while enhancing customer security reviews

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in hypergrowth environments
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Ability to engage with executive leadership and represent security to the board and enterprise customers
