AI Security VP

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried VP of Security will establish an AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while managing corporate IT responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and identity management for agents
• Lead security engineering teams and drive initiatives for secure application development, incident response, and cloud security
• Manage enterprise security narratives for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical knowledge of AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in managing corporate IT, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
