AI Software Engineer

Job Summary

Ambitious and mission-focused, the full-time AI Software Engineer will design, build, and ship production agentic AI systems while establishing cloud infrastructure and governance, all within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect production agentic AI systems using LangGraph and LangChain, ensuring reliability and measurable output quality
• Build agent components including ingestion pipelines and retrieval systems, connecting agents to corporate tools through Model Context Protocol
• Establish and operate cloud infrastructure for R&D AI systems, utilizing Amazon EKS, Terraform, and GitOps delivery patterns

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time software, ML, or AI engineering experience with production work on LLM-based systems
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems using LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent
• Production experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, including vector stores and optimization strategies
• Experience deploying containerized AI services in cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• U.S. citizenship and residence in an approved hiring hub: DC/Maryland/Virginia, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill NC, Denver/Colorado Springs CO, or Dallas/Fort Worth TX
