AI Strategy Operations Leader

Job Summary

To drive effective and responsible AI adoption across the organization, the remote Head of AI Strategy & Operations will shape the enterprise AI strategy, prioritize initiatives, and establish governance while collaborating with various teams to enhance employee capabilities and ensure measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Shape AI strategy by developing investment priorities and aligning plans with business goals and resources
• Prioritize opportunities for AI use by assessing benefits, risks, and readiness with business and technical leaders
• Lead AI governance by establishing risk categories and approval processes to facilitate responsible team progress

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in AI, AI strategy, or technology strategy, including leadership of complex initiatives
• Experience establishing enterprise AI governance, standards, or adoption programs
• Practical experience with large language models, AI evaluation, and AI-assisted development
• Ability to turn unclear business problems into actionable requirements with measurable results
• Relevant credentials such as IAPP AIGP, ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent practical experience
