Job Summary
Collaborating with the Domain Manager and instructional design team, the independent contractor AI Subject Matter Expert will develop and maintain professional development courses focused on practical artificial intelligence applications for federal employees and adult learners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop or revise course content aligned with learning objectives and provide subject matter expertise
- Create and review realistic scenarios, case studies, and exercises relevant to AI applications in the workplace
- Test AI activities, document tools, and provide guidance on responsible AI practices and outputs
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in AI applications with practical work examples
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs and explain their accuracy and limitations
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills for organizing complex information
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including privacy and security considerations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional designers and meet project deadlines
