Defining the overall AI architecture for a proactive phone system, the full-time remote AI Systems Architect will design agent interactions with the OS and applications, focusing on context, memory, and orchestration systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall AI architecture and agent runtime for the phone
• Design context and memory systems to enhance user activity understanding
• Establish reliability, observability, and evaluation standards for AI systems

Required qualifications

• Strong backend and distributed systems engineering experience
• Experience building production AI agent systems or complex orchestration systems
• Strong understanding of LLMs, tool calling, and structured outputs
• Experience with stateful workflows and multi-step task execution
• Strong system design and architecture skills
