Job Summary
To support a growing civil engineering practice, the remote Alabama Licensed Associate Project Manager will perform and oversee civil engineering work focused on site design components, conduct design activities, and prepare technical deliverables while being available for occasional travel to Alabama and Georgia locations.
Key responsibilities
- Performs and oversees civil engineering work, including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater infrastructure
- Completes detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for residential or commercial site civil aspects
- Reviews contractor submittals for conformance with contract drawings and provides engineering services during construction
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/site development, stormwater, and permitting
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT desired
- Experience with the planning and design of site layout and development projects
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and at least 2 years' experience with ICPR
