Job Summary
Generating mortgage loan opportunities, the full-time Alabama Licensed Mortgage Originator will establish relationships with members and real estate professionals while ensuring compliance with lending guidelines in a hybrid remote environment based out of Mobile, AL.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and evaluates mortgage loan documents to ensure compliance with credit union and investor guidelines
- Develops business through networking and relationship-building within the real estate community
- Maintains organized mortgage loan files and communicates with all parties involved to support timely closings
Required qualifications
- Three to five years of related experience in mortgage lending
- A two-year college degree or completion of specialized certification or training
- In-depth knowledge of secondary market and residential real estate lending
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to pass registration based on SAFE Act requirements or already be registered
