Job Summary
To represent commercial insureds for a prestigious insurance carrier, the full-time Alabama Licensed Senior Trial Attorney will prepare and try high complexity General Liability and Commercial Auto personal injury cases while working remotely from Alabama.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of insurance defense, including legal analysis, preparation of pleadings, and conducting hearings and trials
- Perform legal research and handle pre-trial discovery and post-trial activities
- Demonstrate case analysis ability and effective negotiation skills throughout the litigation process
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor with 7 or more years of litigation experience
- Member of the Bar in good standing in Alabama
- First chair jury trial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools such as Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation environment
