Job Summary
To support K-12 students in Alabama, the fully remote, contract-based Alabama Licensed Speech Pathologist will deliver high-quality speech and language instruction via Teletherapy, evaluate students' needs, and design individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging speech and language instruction through Teletherapy, fostering rapport with students
- Evaluate students' speech and language levels, translating findings into actionable goals
- Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals while collaborating with school staff
Required qualifications
- Active Alabama SLP license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)
- No disciplinary actions on any held licenses
- Experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and teletherapy in a school/IEP context
- Reliable technology setup compliant with FERPA standards, including a webcam and high-speed internet
- Authorization to work in the United States
