Job Summary
Leading the security programs for multiple classified and unclassified systems, the full-time Alaska Licensed Information Security Manager will provide strategic oversight, manage the RMF lifecycle, and conduct security audits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary authority for system security and oversee continuous monitoring, including log analysis and vulnerability management
- Lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities and manage risk mitigation efforts across assigned systems
- Advise leadership on cybersecurity risks and strategies while collaborating with engineering and operations teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7-10 years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in an ISSM or senior security role
- Active Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI if needed
- CISSP or equivalent advanced cybersecurity certification required; CASP+, CISM, or similar preferred
- Expert knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity policies
