Alaska Licensed Teletherapist

Job Summary

Providing remote mental health services, the full-time Alaska Licensed Teletherapist will deliver therapy and counseling, conduct video-based assessments, and maintain documentation for patients accessing care from an Alaskan Tribal Health Organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mental health services including intake, therapy, and counseling
• Conduct video-based behavioral health assessments and assist with de-escalation and stabilization
• Maintain documentation within the partner site's EMR and ensure a safe therapeutic environment

Required qualifications

• Active Alaska therapy license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMSW) enabling independent practice
• 1-3 years of experience since obtaining an unrestricted license
• Intermediate to advanced experience with technology
• Culturally responsive with an understanding of trauma in Native American populations
• Preferred training or certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
