ALFA Modeling Actuary

Job Summary

Supporting the valuation team remotely on a temporary basis, the ALFA Modeling Actuary will roll forward ALFA models, execute valuation runs for annuity and life products, and review model outputs while collaborating with valuation actuaries.

Key responsibilities:

• Roll forward and update in-force ALFA models to the current valuation date
• Execute ALFA model runs across multiple scenarios for annuity and life products
• Review model output for reasonableness and investigate modeling issues

Required qualifications:

• Strong hands-on ALFA modeling experience
• Strong understanding of annuity products
• Experience working with and modifying actuarial models
• Strong Excel skills and experience with actuarial calculations
• ASA or FSA designation
