Job Summary

Managing complex commercial third-party bodily injury and property damage claims for energy accounts, the full-time Senior Technical Claims Specialist will work remotely or with a limited return-to-office schedule, overseeing litigation and high-dollar exposures while serving as a subject matter expert in energy claims.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle handling of complex Commercial Energy claims, including coverage analysis and settlement negotiations
• Act as claim owner with authority to authorize payments and adjust reserves while developing litigation plans
• Mentor less experienced claims examiners and participate in special projects related to claims process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5-7+ years in complex Commercial Casualty claims, particularly in Energy claims
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Energy-specific litigation and complex multi-party losses
• Advanced proficiency in coverage analysis within a litigation context
• All Lines Adjuster License required
• Proven ability to independently manage a litigation-heavy claim portfolio
