Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the AML Investigator will conduct investigations into unusual activity, manage risk exposure through SAR filings, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct investigations assigned by the Head of Investigation Team to assess risk exposure and determine appropriate actions, including SAR filing and account closure
- Provide investigative support to Customer Help Desk and Legal Team requests
- Communicate effectively with customers, agents, and internal attorneys as needed
Required qualifications
- University education (preferred)
- Experience in an investigative function
- Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, or Elliptic
- Demonstrated AML experience, including customer and enhanced due diligence, and SAR/STR reporting
- Basic knowledge of blockchain technology (enhanced in the role)
