Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To support federal civilian agencies, the fully remote Principal Analytics Engineer will design and maintain automated ETL/ELT data pipelines, develop analytics-ready data models, and implement CI/CD practices for data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools
- Develop and manage analytics-ready data models and workflows to support reporting and advanced data science use cases
- Implement CI/CD practices using GitLab for reliable and repeatable analytics and data engineering processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field with 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data analysis
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and CI/CD practices
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases and creating dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, agile environments
