Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing university, the full-time Analytics Engineer will transform data from multiple sources into clean, reliable datasets and develop models and tools for data-driven decision-making, working remotely or from the Draper, UT campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain analytics-ready data models to support reporting and dashboards
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources, building automated pipelines for data ingestion
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and generate actionable insights

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational data models
• Experience with data transformation tools, such as dbt or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with modern data warehouses and ELT/ETL pipelines
• Solid understanding of data modeling, metrics design, and data quality best practices
