Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Analytics Engineer, this full-time position will manage data modeling and analytics engineering tasks, translating business requirements into scalable data models while utilizing SQL and modern analytics practices.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain efficient SQL to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets and develop various data models
- Use Git and GitHub for version control, managing analytics code and evaluating dependencies for modifications
- Investigate data quality issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure sustainable solutions for data transformations
Required qualifications
- Approximately 2-4 years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or related fields
- Strong understanding of relational data and data modeling concepts
- Practical experience using Git for version control and collaborative development
- Experience with SQL-based cloud data warehouses or relational databases
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field preferred
