Analytics Engineer, Illinois Licensed

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle Department, the full-time remote Analytics Engineer, Illinois Licensed will build and maintain data infrastructure for hospital billing and revenue cycle reporting, transforming raw data into reliable datasets for analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models and semantic models to support consistent reporting across the revenue cycle
• Design and maintain data pipelines to ingest and process billing, claims, and payment data from multiple sources
• Implement data quality checks and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data analytics tools for improved reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python, with experience in data modeling and cloud data platforms
• Experience with data transformation tools and integrating data from disparate systems
• Familiarity with hospital revenue cycle concepts and experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau
