Analytics Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Managing a team of Analysts and Data Engineers, the full-time remote Analytics Engineering Manager will oversee the development of data pipelines, implement data quality testing, and ensure robust data modeling for healthcare.gov outreach and analytics initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct and develop an Analytics Engineering team to define data modeling standards and dbt best practices
• Oversee the migration and optimization of SQL logic into scalable dbt pipelines while managing complex Airflow DAGs for data orchestration
• Implement data quality checks and maintain documentation for datasets and transformation logic

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics/infrastructure and analytics engineering, including 1+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience with dbt and developing data models in cloud environments like Snowflake or Redshift
• Strong background in optimizing data models for query efficiency
• Ability to mentor junior staff and develop best practices within a team
• Undergraduate degree or higher
