Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Android Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on developing a clinical Android tablet application that integrates with proprietary TMS hardware, ensuring seamless communication and data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize USB Serial communication between the Android tablet and TMS hardware
- Build and maintain high-performance Native Bridges for handling high-frequency telemetry data
- Ensure reliable collection and synchronization of clinical session data to AWS cloud backends via secure REST APIs
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade Android applications in Java and Kotlin
- Expert-level proficiency in React Native and TypeScript
- Advanced knowledge of Redux Toolkit for state management
- Experience with USB/Serial communication protocols
- Strong UI/UX instincts with a focus on polished Android experiences
