Job Summary
To lead core product development, the full-time remote Android Team Lead will manage major features end-to-end, maintain reliability metrics, and actively participate in code reviews while ensuring effective team collaboration and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver major features in collaboration with the design team from conception to release
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to enhance team learning and performance
- Unblock team members and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and hands-on coding
- Strong expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
- Experience with background audio processing and long-running background tasks
- Proven ability to implement and sustain changes in team workflows
- Product design intuition and a commitment to enhancing Android UI/UX
