Android Team Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Android Team Lead for a full-time remote position who will manage core product features, oversee code reviews, and enhance team collaboration while writing and maintaining code.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from design to release, ensuring real delivery and collaboration with the design team
• Review pull requests, provide constructive feedback, and unblock team members facing challenges
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features while ensuring shared code quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and hands-on coding
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, and Android development best practices
• Experience with background audio or long-running background tasks in Android applications
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the importance of automated testing
• Demonstrated ability to introduce and implement changes that improve team workflows
