Job Summary
To lead core product development, the full-time remote Android Team Lead will manage major features, enhance team efficiency, and actively participate in coding and code reviews while fostering collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver major features from design to release, ensuring reliability and quality
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members, facilitating their growth
- Unblock team members and streamline processes to reduce manual intervention in releases
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership in a hands-on role
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Jetpack Navigation
- Experience with background audio or long-running background tasks in Android
- Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain changes within a team
- Product design intuition and a commitment to enhancing Android UI/UX beyond specifications
