Job Summary
To lead the architecture of secure and scalable APIs, the remote API Solution Architect will design and modernize enterprise-scale API solutions using Node.js, while driving integration initiatives across cloud-native platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, secure RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations using Node.js and related technologies
- Deliver agentic API migration factories with LLM-driven pipelines to accelerate legacy-to-modern API transformations
- Establish API standards and governance frameworks, partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in Solution Architecture or similar roles
- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like Express.js and NestJS
- Experience in designing enterprise-scale API platforms and modernizing legacy applications
- Knowledge of API security practices and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
