Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Apparel Merchandiser will manage day-to-day merchandising support and transition into strategic responsibilities, focusing on maintaining product data, supporting seasonal assortments, and executing category strategies for an outdoor apparel brand committed to sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate product records and support seasonal line planning and assortment documentation
- Track in-season sales performance and contribute to forecasting and inventory recommendations
- Lead execution of the Apparel go-to-market strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or product merchandising, preferably in apparel or consumer products
- Strong hands-on experience with Centric or a comparable PLM system
- Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative communicator with experience working across various teams
