Appian Product Owner

Job Summary

To accelerate the modernization of Bond Management capabilities, the full-time remote Appian Product Owner will design and improve business process workflows using Appian, lead business process discovery, and partner with various stakeholders to translate operational needs into deployable digital workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and enhance business process workflows using Appian Designer with a focus on user-centric design and operational control
• Lead business process discovery for Bond Management operations and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency
• Own and manage product backlog items, including authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, and release-ready requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in business analysis, product ownership, or transformation, or a combined minimum of 14 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience with Appian, including building and configuring workflows and related objects
• Experience in financial services or fintech, particularly in regulated business processes
• Proven ability to write detailed user stories, specifications, and testing scenarios
• Strong analytical skills with experience in QA, UAT, and solution quality practices
