Appian SME IT Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Appian SME IT Specialist will serve as the senior technical authority for Appian solution architecture, guiding secure application delivery and providing technical mentorship in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide low-code solution delivery in a secure Department of War (DoW) customer environment, translating mission needs into scalable Appian application architecture
• Own and govern Appian application architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, testable, accessible, maintainable, and performant
• Lead architecture and code reviews, mentoring Appian developers while establishing secure design patterns and delivery standards

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with previous professional experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government
• 12+ years of professional IT experience with extensive hands-on Appian solution delivery and technical leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Deep hands-on experience in Appian application architecture, including records, data fabric, interfaces, processes, and integrations
• Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
