Appian Solution Architect

Job Summary

To support Army Acquisition, Training, and Readiness (AT&R), the full-time Appian Solution Architect will lead end-to-end solution architecture and integration for the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) in a remote environment, ensuring secure and scalable capabilities while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture for ACWS, aligning with program objectives and user needs
• Lead solution-level architecture across the Appian application stack, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• Serve as a senior technical design authority and primary architectural interface for government stakeholders and delivery teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 9+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, large-scale system integration, or technical leadership of complex systems
• Experience as a Solution Architect or in a senior architecture role supporting Federal Government or mission-critical systems
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, and security
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required
