Application Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance University business processes, the full-time Application Analyst will implement, maintain, and support custom and third-party software applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support major custom and third-party applications, including planning, analysis, design, testing, and maintenance
• Conduct needs analysis to identify opportunities for application improvements and evaluate user satisfaction metrics
• Manage assigned projects from start to finish, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and utilizing project management software

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science, or equivalent work experience
• One or more years of systems administration/analysis experience with knowledge of distributed systems architecture
• Working knowledge of basic hardware and software products
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of working with computers and applications in a networked environment
