Job Summary
To support a State client in LA, the full-time Application Architect will define and maintain cloud application and data architecture for an enterprise Azure environment, ensuring adherence to design standards and providing technical direction to development teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain cloud application and data architecture for an enterprise Azure environment
- Set standards for solution design, integration patterns, and disaster recovery
- Produce reference architecture documentation and review vendor-proposed designs
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of architecture experience, particularly in Azure services
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
- Proven track record of architecting shared platforms for multiple business units
- Cloud architecture certification preferred
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the City of New Orleans
