Application Delivery Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting Information Assurance Services, the full-time remote Application Delivery Engineer will assist in developing secure systems and networks, ensuring the delivery of highly available applications while participating in on-call rotations and executing security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with auditing exercises and develop plans to remediate security shortfalls while evaluating application and infrastructure designs for compliance
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support application delivery changes and issues outside of standard business hours
• Coach and mentor team members on managing and troubleshooting application delivery architecture and supporting systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering, or two years of core IT experience
• Strong working knowledge of network principles, packet analysis, web application firewalls, and security frameworks
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with various personnel levels
• F5-Certified Big-IP Administrator or equivalent preferred
