Application Developer
Job Summary
Collaborating with NIST/OISM teams, the full-time Application Developer will develop, maintain, and enhance the MEP Enterprise Information System (MEIS), ensuring secure and scalable application solutions while supporting various development environments and application testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot the MEP Enterprise Information System (MEIS) across multiple environments
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure application solutions in collaboration with development teams
- Support application security and compliance with NIST, CISA, and FISMA requirements while maintaining technical documentation and version control
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years' related experience
- Bachelor's degree in an IT field from an accredited US university
- Expertise in ASP.Net/.NET Framework, J2EE, OOD, OOP, and web services
- Experience with RDBMS, JavaScript, GitLab, and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SharePoint, and application security best practices
