Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Application Engineer will administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform remotely, ensuring reliable EDI transaction processing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, focusing on EDI transaction processing
- Build, deploy, and optimize processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows
- Collaborate with EDI Analysts and DevSecOps Engineers to analyze and resolve technical issues
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience in AWS cloud environments and EDI troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
