Application Engineer for Switchgear
Job Summary
To support a growing electrical power distribution business, the full-time remote Application Engineer for Switchgear will develop technical and commercial quotes, scope customer requirements, and serve as the primary technical liaison between sales, customers, and internal engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop technical and commercial quotes for low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear projects
- Scope customer requirements, review specifications, and identify appropriate switchgear configurations
- Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements for engineering and design
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience quoting and scoping switchgear equipment
- Strong working knowledge of low-voltage and/or medium-voltage switchgear and electrical power distribution systems
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in a technical sales or application engineering capacity
- Ability to interpret electrical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
