Application Packaging Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking two experienced Application Packaging Engineers for a remote contract role, the candidates will manage the packaging, testing, and validation of Windows applications for deployment through Microsoft Intune, supporting a large-scale integration initiative involving approximately 12,000 endpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and prepare Windows application packages for deployment via Microsoft Intune
- Utilize Flexera AdminStudio or comparable tools to create and configure software packages
- Collaborate with application stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure deployment readiness
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Windows application packaging or related endpoint management disciplines
- Experience with enterprise packaging solutions such as Flexera AdminStudio, SCCM, or MECM
- Strong understanding of Windows application installation and packaging methodologies
- Experience packaging, testing, and troubleshooting MSI and EXE installers
- Ability to gather business and application requirements and convert them into deployable packages
