Application Security Analyst

Job Summary

Embedding security into the software development lifecycle, the full-time Application Security Analyst will perform application-security assessments across modern applications, APIs, and cloud-native services while collaborating with developers to identify and remediate exploitable risks in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security requirements and threat modeling into architecture, design, development, testing, and release processes
• Perform and validate various security testing methods, including SAST, DAST, and API testing, while distinguishing exploitable weaknesses from tool noise
• Conduct security design and architecture reviews for web, API, and cloud-native applications, providing remediation guidance to developers

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with application security testing, secure code review, and vulnerability validation
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10/API risks and common web/application attack techniques
• Working knowledge of SAST, DAST, API testing, and CI/CD security tooling
• Understanding of modern software architectures, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud services
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
