Application Security Architect
Job Summary
Designing and leading a comprehensive application security program, the full-time remote Application Security Architect will automate security into the software development life cycle and mentor developers on secure coding practices using Wiz as the core platform.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead a world-class application security program with automation across the SDLC
- Design security models for AI-assisted development and conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews
- Lead and mentor the AppSec team while ensuring accurate and prioritized security findings are integrated into developer tools
Required qualifications
- Eight or more years of experience in software development and application security with hands-on coding experience
- Expertise in using Wiz and knowledge of modern build pipelines like GitHub or Azure DevOps
- Daily use of AI coding tools and a strong understanding of securing them
- Strong threat modeling skills and familiarity with the OWASP Top 10
- Experience securing cloud-native applications, containers, and APIs
