Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the contract Application Security Engineer will focus on investigating and remediating security findings related to application security while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and remediate security findings involving hard-coded credentials/secrets within source code repositories
- Collaborate with engineering teams on remediation projects utilizing Git/GitHub
- Implement automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on application security experience
- Experience with investigating and remediating security issues in source code
- Proficiency in scripting/automation with at least two of the following: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks within a short, project-based engagement
