Job Summary
Working remotely as a contractor, the Application Security Engineer will assist in enhancing security within application development processes, conduct internal penetration testing, and collaborate with software developers to promote secure coding practices.
Key responsibilities

- Conduct internal penetration testing and code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities

Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of scripting and development experience, preferably with web applications
- 2-3 years of cloud engineering experience, with an emphasis on AWS and Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with security best practices and standards, such as OWASP and S-SDLC
- Experience with AI tools for automation and enhancing security processes
- Excellent judgment in assessing and prioritizing technical risk
