Job Summary
To support adult learners in achieving their educational goals, the full-time remote Application Specialist will advise potential students on admissions and degree completion requirements, guide them through the application process, and ensure a smooth transition into their chosen programs.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect for and guide students through the application processes of partner universities
- Manage student files, ensuring they are informed and completing necessary action items throughout the admissions funnel
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess students' educational and career goals, creating a roadmap for their success
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree
- At least 1 year of experience working in higher education with adult students in an online setting
- Knowledge of the challenges and needs specific to adult learners in higher education
- Experience with CRM, LMS, and SIS platforms used in online higher education
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with adult students
